JUDE
ST. GEORGE Director, Jude St. George, holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Fredonia State University and shares over 20 years of musical experiences. She performed for 3 years with the Erie Philharmonic Orchestra along with many local bands before moving to New York City to expand her musical experience. Once in New York, Jude was a partner in Freeway Fusion, a duo featuring marimba and percussion along with keyboards and vocals. Freeway Fusion performed on and produced 3 recordings, held successful positions on the college music radio charts, and performed in many clubs in the New York City area. After many years of teaching privately, Jude formulated the idea of R AT A M A C U E where students and adults who share the love of drums and percussion would have an outlet to learn and perform. Jude also works along with the local school music directors in support of their school program, as well as enhancing music theory, technique, and style for the students. |

MURRAY
HOULLIF With over 175 published books, solos and ensemble compositions, the music of Murray Houllif is performed all over the world. His varied and continuing performance experience has lent much inspiration: Catskill Mountain show drummer,concert percussionist with the Long Island and Nassau Symphonies, his own Ambira Mallet Quartet, The Atlantic Wind Symphony, jazz and rock drumming, etc. Murray has taught percussion at North Texas State University and is a two-time winnerof the Percussive Arts Society International Composition Contest. He has recently retired from 33 years of teaching as a band director/percussion specialist in the Smithtown public school district. |

KATHERINE REILLY Kat graduated cum laude from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College with a Bechelor's degree in Music Performance. She is a member of the Northport Community Band and has been a freelance percussionist for 5 years. SHe is currently working on her Masters in Education degree at Queens College. Before becoming a teacher at Ratamacue, Kat was a student of Jude St. George and is very happy to be a part of the Ratamacue staff.
